Seymour Krelborn Seymour Krelborn – Seymour Krelborn is an orphan who works in the flower shop with his new dad and co-worker Audrey. He’s a bit of a nerd and can be quite insecure. He collects unusual plants, and then one day he finds a very odd looking plant and takes it to the flower shop to look after it. Seymour is played by Rick Moranis.

Audrey Audrey – Audrey works in the flower shop and she and Seymour both like each other. She has a boyfriend who is a dentist and abuses her. She really likes wearing make-up and dressing herself in fashionable clothes. Audrey is played by Ellen Greene.

Mr Mushnik Mr Mushnik- Mr Mushnik took Seymour into his own care after he was left by himself. He owns the flower shop and is quite strict. He gets frustrated when no one comes into his shop, but later on into the film he is happy because people start coming into the shop again to see Seymours unusual plant. Mr Mushnik is played by Vincent Gardenia.

Story Line Seymour is the clumsy employee of Mushnik's Flower Shop on skid row, where he daydreams of Audrey his co-worker. After no business, Mr Mushnik decides to close the shop. Seymour and Audrey tell him that they think displaying something interesting, strange, and new in the window will attract business. Seymour brings up the perfect plant for the job: a flytrap-esque plant he calls Audrey II, The plant immediately attracts business. After the store closes, the plant begins to wilt, and Mr Mushnik orders Seymour to fix it.

Story Line That night, Seymour discovers what Audrey II eats: blood. Seymour feeds the plant his blood, and as a result, it gets bigger and bigger. When Seymour becomes unable to keep feeding it, the plant begins to talk and urges him to kill people and feed them to him. Audrey II promises him rewards, and that he'll bring him business, luxuries, everything he's ever wanted, and Audrey.
