4 Our Story So Far… Earlier in the year, we committed to: Improving all students’ achievement in reading and math using data. Using the STAT process for data analysis meetings. Providing professional development: Lexia Word Study Guided Reading Reading block support from Central Office Content Area Specialists and WRES Coaches Utilizing the new lesson planning template. Using the observation tool as an instrument to measure student engagement: Professional development during learning community meetings with the engagement tool Concentration on “Engages in reading” (high-yield practice 3) for reading instruction
