Why You Should Love God “We love Him because He first loved us.” (1 John 4:19)

Why You Should Love God God sent Jesus to die for your sins (1 John 4:10; Acts 2:23)

1 John 4:10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Acts 2:23 Him, being delivered by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God, you have taken by lawless hands, have crucified, and put to death.

Why You Should Love God God sent Jesus to die for your sins (1 John 4:10; Acts 2:23) God created you (Psa. 139:13-14)

Psalm 139:13-14 For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother's womb. 14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.

Why You Should Love God God sent Jesus to die for your sins (1 John 4:10; Acts 2:23) God created you (Psa. 139:13-14) God sustains your life (Matt. 6:30-33; 6:11)

Matthew 6:30-33 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31 "Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' 32 "For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Matthew 6:11 Give us this day our daily bread.

Why You Should Love God God sent Jesus to die for your sins (1 John 4:10; Acts 2:23) God created you (Psa. 139:13-14) God sustains your life (Matt. 6:30-33; 6:11) God gives you escape from temptations (1 Cor. 10:13)

1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

Why You Should Love God God sent Jesus to die for your sins (1 John 4:10; Acts 2:23) God created you (Psa. 139:13-14) God sustains your life (Matt. 6:30-33; 6:11) God gives you escape from temptations (1 Cor. 10:13) God has prepared eternal life for those who love Him (Rev. 2:10; John 14:1-3)

Revelation 2:10 Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.

John 14:1-3 Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

Conclusion Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world--the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life--is not of the Father but is of the world. 17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. 1 John 2:15-17 What Other Reasons Do You Need?
