Mathematics in Kindergarten Geometry

OBJECTIVE FOR TODAY In Math a well-balanced mathematics curriculum for Kindergarten to Grade 2 need a primary focal point by helping them to develop the whole-number concept, using patterns, and sorting to explore number, data, and shape. In Math students from kindergarten to 2 nd grades use number in ordering, labeling, and expressing quantities and relationships to solve problems and translate informal language into mathematical symbols. Students use pattern to describe object, express relationships, make predictions, and solve problem as they build an understanding of number, operation, shape, and space.

The Name and Information For Shapes Circle A curved line whose ends meet to form a round shape.

Triangle A shape that has 3 sides and 3 angles.

Square A shape that has four equal sides and angles.

Rectangle A four sided Shape that has 2 sides are equal length.

Quick quiz for review. Rectangle Circle Square Triangle
