Important Terminology GOP: The documents that contain all permit requirements for the industry type. ATO: Authorization to operate under a general operating permit.

The OP-DEL authorizes a duly authorized representative, or DAR, and is not required. The OP-SUM lists the applicable units and the New Source Review (NSR) authorizations. The OP-ACPS is required to show that the site is in compliance. Form OP-REQ1 is for updating site-wide terms and conditions. Form OP-UA is for updating unit specific attribute data values. Form OP-MON is for adding, changing, or deleting PM or CAM. Form OP-REQ3 is for the provisional terms and conditions that codify the new applicable requirements or state-only requirements. * Optional

Five year authorization term ATO Renewal Timeline TCEQ sends renewal notification ATO issued ATO expiration Five year authorization term Application due (6-18 months before expiration) This slide shows a timeline marked every year to represent a span of five years. The ATO issuance is marked at the beginning and the authorization expiration is marked at the end. There is a note that most authorization terms last for a span of five years (unless otherwise noted). At the four-year mark, there is a note that TCEQ sends a renewal notification. A bracket indicates that the application is due 6-18 months before expiration.
