The Do’s and Don’ts of Camp Summer Day Camp

BE ON TIME All POOL staff must arrive at 8:15 am All other staff must arrive at 8:45 am

If you are going to be late or absent… Call the office! Hi office, I will be absent today.

NO OUTSIDE FOOD ON CAMP GROUNDS No Coffee No Candy No Sandwiches No Sodas Etc.

CELL PHONES Must be off and out of sight!

DRUGS AND ALCOHOL = WE CALL 911

HARASSMENT NO sexual or verbal harassment to children or other staff members. NO touching children or staff inappropriately. NO carrying children - NO piggyback rides NO yelling

CLOTHING… Boys and Girls Must wear shirts at all times except by the pool Must wear shirts in the cafeteria!!! Must wear shoes at all times except by the pool and beach. Must wear shoes in the cafeteria!!!

PARKING Park only in the designated staff parking areas. No parking on the grass or blocking drop-off area

Don’t Just Sit Around Make sure that you are working when you are supposed to be. Do NOT sit around camp doing nothing. Be involved in the activities going on!

15 minute breaks You may take a short break at a convenient time as needed. If you are a counselor, you may not take breaks during pool time. Tell someone that you are taking a break so they can cover for you and will know where you are.

THE GYM and THE HIGH SCHOOL… When you are in the gym, only use the bathrooms that are in the gym. The high school building will be closed for the entire summer!
