Our Current Status Continued cold weather has caused river ice to increase & strengthen on Mid-Atlantic rivers and streams. No strong warm-up or significant rain event is forecast, therefore conditions remain unfavorable for the ice to break-up and move. Regardless, please stay alert and stay in touch. Share river ice information with your local NWS office.
