 I picked rugby because I love the sport and have been playing since I was 4 years old. The game I well always remember in my puke years is against Manurewa in our second to last game where it was the most entertaining game for the parents.

 The reason they called it rugby is because when William Web Ellis picked the soccer ball up and ran with it he was in a small town called rugby in England.

 Kieran Read was named the best player for this year. He is the best number 8 of his generation. He was named captain of the all blacks

 Jonah was spotted by the counties development team when he played for Wesley college he played for counties and hurricanes. He played for the under 19s all black and under 21s. In 1994 he played his first international test in Hong Kong. In 1995 he was one of the top players in the tournament.


