Estimate plan effectiveness Imagine possible risks Plan for potential outcome – Good – Bad Be prepared in the event of all outcomes Routinely test our plan in imagined but plausible scenarios

Prepare plans to mitigate problems Use test results to develop action plans Ask workers for opinions of safety Study other corporations safety evaluations Research real danger events and their outcomes Practice, practice, practice Remain vigilant

Education Advantages – Feasible – Acceptable to most – Protection – Avoid lawsuits Disadvantages – Dangers unforeseen – Perceived cost – Extra work – Time waste
