Learning Theory Authentic learning theory: “Authentic learning typically focuses on real-world, complex problems and their solutions, using role-playing exercises, problem-based activities, case studies, and participation in virtual communities of practice.” - EDUCAUSE, ELI Paper 1, 2007 Kolb’s four modes of learning; experiencing, reflecting, thinking and acting (as in action not theater)

Learner Feedback “The questions posed on the DB, the Learning Checks and Case Study were thought provoking and helped apply the knowledge to our own situations” [The] “course was strategically planned and organized for optimum transfer of knowledge” “What I enjoy most about this course is being able to relate the course material with my present real-life situations.” “I think this is the most valuable course I have taken at GSC…this class has prepared me to handle many of the challenges I will face as a manager.”
