The church Jesus built is not a denomination.

The called-out body and assembly belonging to Christ originated in the 1 st century.  Jesus established His gathering together to Himself of His disciples.  Matthew 16:18; John 10:16  With the preaching of the gospel, the Lord’s church grew.  Acts 2:41, 47; 5:11; 8:1; 11:22, 26; 14:23
