Evidence for Achieved Use of instrumental drawing techniques and conventions 2D drawings must describe technical features of a design Technical features – visible surface features – dimensions – material – scale

Evidence for Merit Measured multi-view instrumental drawings Clearly communicate detail of the technical features of a design (eg features not visible in the main outline, complex shape or form) Conventions applied appropriately e.g. title blocks, labelling, indication of scale, key line types, construction lines/outlines, dimensioning, text
