3 Shanghai Jiao Tong University 3 Engineering Drawing Why should we use and learn about Engineering Drawing? Maybe the geometry information can be expressed in 3D module by Unigraphics, but how to express the information else such as the notes, title,……?

4 Shanghai Jiao Tong University 4 Multi-view Drawing Isometric views can be easily and quickly understood. But maybe a number of graphical features are not shown. This happens when a given feature will overlay or partial cover other features which we are trying to show or explain. Isometric views are suitable for representing preliminary ideas or sketches. In real Engineering Practice, Multi-view Drawing is still very important.
