.Was a very beloved person of SAW.Was a slave from Abyssnia Africa.Was sold in a slave market.Became property of SAW’s father, ‘Abdullah inb’ Abd al-Muttalib. Became property of SAW’s mother Aminah when father died.Helped Aminah during pregnancy when she was about to have Rasulullah.

. Helped Aminah when Rasulullah was born.SAW was sent away to live in the desert until age 4.Came back home to Makkah and Barakah was attached towards him after quite a while.Aminah, Barakah, and Rasulullah went to Madinah.On the way back, Aminah fell ill, and died at abwa near Madinah.Barakah prepared for the journey home with a few travelers.Stopped at SAW’s granfather’s house, Abd al-Muttalib.Grandfather took charge of SAW and died three years later. Left his son (Abu Talib) to take care of Rasulullah.

.After SAW married Khadijah, he arranged a wedding for Barakah with a man named Ubaid ibn Zaid.Left Makkah and Rasulullah and came back a few years later with her son named Aiman. Might have gotten divorced/died.Went by the name “Umm Aiman” meaning mother of Aiman.

Moved ack to Makkah with her son after her husband’s death/divorce..Started living with SAW’s family again.Time passed, and heavenly revelations began to come on holy prophet.Barakah was from the first who believed in him and became one of the very first true believers.In the early years of secrecy she was there.When the Message finally became public, she was the first to endure hardships and tortures that followed the Makkan Muslim

. Barakah was married with Zaid ibn Harith in the early years of SAW’s revelation.Was also a wedding gift of Khadijah to SAW.Had been set free by SAW and was adopted by him as well.Was very much younger than her.Had a son named Usamah

.Barakah was present during the time of Khadijah’s death.Was there when Muhammad (SAW) left his house at night to migrate from Makkah to Madinah.Shared her joy with other women when she found SAW made it safely.She returned to Madinah.Was present at the marriage of SAW’s daughter Fatimah and SAW’s cousin Ali.Present at the burial of SAW’s daughter Zainab.Barakah protested with her son Usamah for A’ishah. After Battle of Uhud, she came out and helped the injured

.After years of hardships and battle, Muslims finally had a little wealth

 Muslim army went to confront the Ghassanid tribe for killing the prophets  Ghassanids asked Caesar’s armies for help and got it  Umm Aiman’s husband Zaid ibn Harith who was leading the army on SAW’s command, Ja’far who was next in command, and ‘Abdallah in Rawahah who was the third in command were killed

 Ordered Usamah who was a young man to lead a large army to the north to confront those same rebellious tribes and to open the way for the Muslims to enter Syria  But Rasulullah died and the army retreated back to Madinah
