d. (v. 16) Jesus will raise the dead in Christ first. e. (v. 17) We shall always be with the Lord. f. (v. 18) These promises should bring comfort.

3.How do the following passages bring comfort, hope and direction? a. (2 Peter 3:8-9)God’s timing is not man’s timing. He will fulfill His promise. b. (Luke 12:35-37) We are to be found ready doing His work. c. (John 14:1-4) Jesus is preparing a place for us and will return.
