Community Health Resources: any person or place available in the area where you live that helps keep you healthy What different types of health resources are available in your community?

Resources Al-a-Teen/Al-Anon: groups for family members who live with an alcoholic Children’s Protective Services : agency that deals w/ issues of child neglect and abuse March of Dimes: Supports research for birth defects Suicide Hot Line: support for those who may be thinking of committing suicide St. David’s Foundation Seton Healthcare Family

County Mental Health Services: American Red Cross Salvation Army Women’s Crisis Center Planned Parenthood: delivers vital reproductive health care, sex education, and information to millions of women, men, and young people worldwide. Under Age Drinking Prevention Program: create a community consensus that underage drinking is illegal, unhealthy, and unacceptable.
