Joseph was a carpenter, He lived in Nazareth He was such a good and honest man

In a dream an angel came, Told of this special day, Mary his betrothed would bear a babe.

Jesus Christ, born to man! Joseph had a special place... in God’s great plan.

Joseph cast his doubt aside, To raise this holy child Mary soon his blessed bride would be.

Said the angel in a dream ‘Jesus the chosen King, He will reign supreme eternally’.

Once in royal David’s city Stood a lowly cattle shed, Where a mother laid her baby In a manger for his bed: Mary was that mother mild, Jesus Christ her little child.

He came down to Earth from Heaven, Who is God and Lord of all, And his shelter, was a stable, And his cradle was a stall. With the poor and meek and lowly, Lived on Earth, our saviour holy.
