Mathematics/Numeracy Mathematics is: The abstract and scientific underpinning of concepts and skills that involves mathematical thinking and strategies. What is Numeracy? The effective use of mathematics to meet the general demands of life at home, at work and for participation in community and civic life.

SINE at St Peter’s School Success in Numeracy Education Catholic Education Initiative Prep-6 Involves individual pre-assessments. Focused teaching Engaged learning through involvement in problem solving and hands on activities On-going monitoring and assessment.
