What is Queen? Queen is an English rock band made up of four people, Freddie Mercury, Brian May, John Deacon and Roger Taylor. Queen has made allot of songs and all of my favourite songs are by Queen. The band formed in the 1970’s.

Why did the band break up? The band broke up because Freddie Mercury died of aids. They had an opportunity to make a new album with recordings of when Freddie was alive but they turned it down.
