What is a Comfort Zone? A comfort zone is that place where we feel safe and secure – a place where we can avoid worry, fear, or failure.

Where’s the Edge of My Comfort Zone? When you feel fear, uneasiness, or butterflies in your stomach, you are on the edge of your comfort zone

Affirmations Affirmations are statements that describe goals in their completed states Examples: Goal: To be a successful business owner Affirmation: I am a successful business owner. Goal: To be able to vacation in the Bahamas with my family. Affirmation: I am sitting in the Bahamas with my family. Goal: To get good grades. Affirmation: I am a 4.0 student.

Tips for Affirmations 1.Start with the words “I am” 2.Use the present tense 3.State it in the positive 4.Keep it brief 5.Make it specific 6.Include and “-ing” action word 7.Include at least one dynamic emotion or feeling word.
