2-21 Area of recreational sport programming directed at developing or teaching an individual basic sport skills, strategies and techniques so they can have fun and enjoy the benefits of a sport activity. Instructional Sports

3-21 Traditionally, instructional sports was only offered through physical education programs but now is very popular in non-educational settings such as YMCA’s/YWCA’s, Boy’s/Girl’s Clubs, municipal parks and recreation, military bases, etc.
