Important Dates 4 May 15 – Standard published. 3 August 15 – Standard effective. 1 Oct 15 thru 8 Jan 16 – Postpone full enforcement for residential construction only – OSHA won’t issue citations if the employer is “making good faith efforts to comply”. – ER must be in compliance with new training requirements OR follow training requirements in (b)(6)(i) Instruct EEs on nature of hazards. Instruct EEs on necessary precautions.
