DDA programs for general Coll.? East Asian Coll.?

DDA Models for East Asian Collections  Purchase on request from curators within the limits of the budget  Free Discovery before purchase  Auto-purchase  Auto-purchase combined with Evidence Based Acquisition  Multiplier with consortial programs

Lessons learned  “Given the small staff, this simple ad hoc DDA program works quite well.”  “DDA has proven to be an excellent tool for general undergraduate focused English language content. It frees our librarians to select more unique advanced and specialized content related to research and supporting emerging disciplines of study.”  “We don't have a specific East Asian language DDA program, but receive English-language scholarly works covering East Asia through our MyiLibrary”  “DDA program (previous) & EBL DDA program (current). Our programs are relatively small, but have provided additional coverage for ebooks in this area of study.”  “We would be interested in an East Asian language DDA program in the future, given the appropriate parameters.”  “DDA programs have been initiated in many institutions. We have been thinking about that. But due to the very small budget in East Asian collection development, we are cautious in initiatives.”

Thank You!
