Children’s Lack of Education By: Jessica Angela Ansell 6B

Article Issue ON MY PAPER thanks

Summary of the Article Education is a right to all children. In some developing countries, children don’t attend school at all because of some economy crisis or children need to help their parents to finish the house chores and housework. More than 2 billion children are not receiving a proper education or not receiving any education at all. As a world community, we are all fighting poverty, disease, war, child labor, child soldiers, human slavery, trafficking and so much more, but the biggest fight is the lack of education. Sometimes, parents ask children to work at the house and assist their families. The problem with education in poorer countries, is not only a lack of funding for education, but also a lack of infrastructure. Sometimes also children work in horrid child labor conditions which is obviously child slavery, many are working along side their families in the field or home. As the educational demands around the industrialized nations increase, the developing world is falling even farther behind. Education is a fundamental right, and we must work together to ensure that all of the world’s children receive a basic education.

Articles from CRC and UUPA Article 28 : Children have a right to an education. Discipline in schools should respect children’s human dignity. Primary education should be free. Wealthy countries should help poorer countries achieve this. Article 29: Education should develop each child's personality and talents to the full. It should encourage children to respect their parents, and their own and other cultures.

The Ideal Application The CRC Article Related to the Issue The Ideal ApplicationResponsibilities Article 29 Education should develop each child’s personality and talents to the full. It should encourage the children to respect their parents, and their own and other cultures. I think the children around the world must get a proper education that sees his or her talents and also to respect their parents. Because, most of the days now, children don’t find their talents and sometimes don’t respect their parents and cultures After he or she can get proper education, they must work hard at it so that they can graduate, work and continue their living. Also, they must respect their culture and parents by sometimes paying for them and also paying the hospital if they are sick. Article 28 All children and young people have a right to a primary education, which should be free. Wealthy countries should help poorer countries achieve this. Discipline in schools should respect children’s human dignity. Young people should be encouraged to reach the highest level of education they are capable of. I think wealthy countries like America, Australia, etc. Must help poorer countries to solve this lack of education problem. Most of the kids in the wealthy countries go to school pretty much but in the poorer countries not all children go to school, instead, they work or become poor people who tried to sell something in the streets. They must respect each other when they are already at school, they can’t bully each other and must follow the teacher’s instructions very well. Their parents must work to earn more money for living and also for the school fee. Article 30 Children have a right to learn and use the language and customs of their families whether these are shared by the majority of people in the country or not. I think children need to learn and write so that when they grow older they can be smart and others. They should learn the customs of their family so when they are adults they can pass it to their kids. They must respect the language and the customs and try to not laugh or make jokes out of it. Because if we make jokes out of the family customs the ritual or good things will not happened.

The Ideal Application The CRC Article Related to the Issue The Ideal Application Responsibilities Article 23 Children who have any kind of disability should have special care and support so that they can lead full and independent lives. I think children should be protected if they get some kind of disability and even though they got it they need to go to school too so they can get the same average as the other kids They must work hard at school so that they can get a better life in that future. Also in the future they must work hard and get money to go to the doctor to fix the kind of disability. Article 32 The Government should protect children from work that is dangerous, or might harm their health or their education. I think children in the age below 12 must not work because instead of school they work but I suggest they better do house chores because if they did some kind of metal workshop or other dangerous adult work it might harm their health. They must work hard at the house chores and maybe the parent must work to earn money for the school fee, properties, clothes and etc. Article 26 The Government should provide extra money for the children of families in need. I think most of the governments in the country don’t care much about the kids in need but they only care about the other rich community who doesn’t need his/her help. I think Government must give money to the poorer families, and after the poorer families get money they must use it wisely for everyday living (food, clothing, others.)

My POSTER My poster is about the children that needs education or developing countries that is lack of education. In the picture it tells about 2 things, bad and good the person teaching is the good part and the 3 kids at home is the bad part because no one is looking after the baby and they need to do work not school.

THANK YOU!! Hope you can save these poor children from danger and others.
