Five Themes of Geography (Country Name) (Name)

Location Knowing where you are. Absolute Location (Identify the Capital city of your country and give the absolute location of the capital) Relative Location (describe the relative location of your country)

Region Areas that can be grouped together by a set of things specific to that area. (Describe a region in your country. Remember a region is an area that shares common characteristics. These characteristics can be physical features, human traits, political boundaries, or religion.)

Place Features that make a place unique. (Identify features that make your country similar to or different from another country. These characteristics can be physical characteristics, like land shape and size, plant and animal life, or climate. These characteristics can also be man-made objects, like clothing, buildings, music, or language.)

Human Environmental Interaction How people interact with their environment. Specifically, how people adapt, modify, and depend on their environment. (Describe how people in your assigned country adapt, modify, and depend on the environment.)

Movement How people in one place make contact with a person in another place; or the exchange of goods and ideas. (Describe how your country exchanges goods and ideas with other countries)
