MTAC Presentation 2  Focus on Standard Mail with:  Requested IHD (In-Home Date); and  Arrives at DDU past IHD or Sale Date  Need for “Standardized” verbiage, format, placement  Relative to mailer requested IHD  Instructions for disposition if received past IHD or Sale Date Issue

MTAC Presentation 3  Mailers will specify IHD on mailpiece  In consistent location  Using standard verbiage (clear and concise)  Along with disposition instructions Desired Results

Secondary location near Ancillary Service Endorsements. Could be NA May be blank Do NOT have to have box around instructions.

MTAC Presentation 9 Example 2 Results To Date – Verbiage and Replacement Required changes are: Postmaster must be notified of request and permission to withdraw and dispose of mail. “Don’t deliver before” message is problematic. If mailing arrives more than two days before in-home, post office cannot hold. Mailers may not like “Last day of Value”, it’s negotiable. REQUESTED IN HOME 8/12-14 LAST DATE OF VALUE 8/20 CONTACT BSN AFTER 8/20 Revised Mailer Endorsement Block

MTAC Presentation 10  Currently two options (DMM D )  Option 1  Attach facing slip to each package of mail with contact info  Date after which mail is not to be delivered  Authorizes withdrawal, but not disposal Mailer’s Request for Withdrawal or Disposal
