8 Parts of Speech A closer look at Nouns

Nouns  Nouns are very easy to spot. A noun is a word that names a person, place, thing, or idea.  Any object that you can see is a noun; concepts, such as love or hate, are also nouns.  Nouns can be classified as common or proper, concrete or abstract, and collective.common or properconcrete or abstractcollective  An easy way to determine if a word is a noun that works most of the time is to add an a or the to it. (the vision, an apple, the turn)
