Development of Undergraduate Education in Faculty of Science FoS Academic Plan Part of Vision Statement : The Faculty would be, or would be on threshold of becoming, the destination of choice for science education. 2 of 7 Objectives Establish national reputation as a learning intensive Faculty. Graduates distinguished by differential training in “soft” skills & career planning.

10-point plan for UG education in FoS 1)Add a focus on learning expectations and degree outcomes. 2)Integrate comprehensive skills development into curriculum. 3)Increase flexibility and options in 1 st year science course selection for students in FoS and other Faculties. 4)Instructor awareness, and some integration, of course curricula within 1 st year and within modules. 5)Integration of appropriate learning technologies in delivery of courses.
