First you should skate around and get to know the park.

You should also try to drop in from an easy ledge. It can really help with your balance.

After you have skated for a while, you should go cool off and drink some water.

Then you can go and skate in the pool!!!

Once you are done with skating in the pool you can just grind a little.

Most importantly you need to leave the park knowing that you are apart of the skateboarding community.

In the early 1940s, skateboarding started because of surfing. When the waves were too flat they wanted an invention that would allow them to surf on the ground and not just in the water. That’s when skateboarding was invented. The skateboard back then was not the skateboard we see today. The skateboard in the 1940s looked more like a scooter then the skateboard that we see in the 21 st century. The skateboard was made of roller skate wheels and a piece of wood that connected to the handles that were also made of wood. Today’s skateboards have roller skate wheels and wooden boards.
