4.South Central States - AAAA.Includes: TTexas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma BBBB.Known as the “Old Southwest”

5.North Central States -  A. Made up of: Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota  B. The “Old Northwest”

American Settlement after 1800: 6. Rocky Mountain States -  Comprised of: Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico

7.Pacific Coast States -  Encompasses: Washington, Oregon, California Washington, Oregon, California
