GENRE REVIEW

WHO AM I? The characters in my stories usually have one simple character trait.

Fable

WHO AM I? Hyperbole is a common feature in my stories.

Tall Tale

WHO AM I? My stories often explain how the world came to be

WHO AM I? My stories are set before history was written.

WHO AM I? The main character in my stories often accomplishes a great feat with the help of a special animal or tool.

Tall tale

WHO AM I? The resolutions in my stories teach a lesson (a moral) that I hope humans will follow

Fable

WHO AM I? I teach lessons about reward good behavior and punish bad behavior in my tales.

Myths

WHO AM I? I am a type of figurative language. I make animals and objects act like humans.

Personification

WHO AM I? People or personified animals are usually the main characters in my tale. I often explain how things came to be the way they are today.

Legend

WHO AM I? My stories have been passed down orally for many generations.

All folklore

WHO AM I? I am set in a historical time period known to man. Sometimes famous places and people can be found in my stories. (HINT: There are 2 answers.)
