Presentation transcript:

FUNDAMENTALISM Fundamentalists believe in the literal truth of the Bible; it is 100% accurate, and cannot be questioned. They believe that it is the word of God, and is totally trustworthy; whether it is talking about History, or talking about God.

CONSERVATIVES Conservative Christians believe that the Bible was inspired by God; that God heavily influenced the people who wrote it. While they accept that some of the History in the bible may either be explicable or untrustworthy, all the teaching about God is true.

LIBERALS Liberal Christians believe that the Bible is a human book about God. As this is trying to explain something unexplainable, they think that this needs a great deal of thought to be understood. They do not believe that all the teaching in the bible should be taken literally, but should be thought about carefully, and if appropriate, used.
