Tate Funding Government Funding – 36% Grant-In-Aid cuts: £10 million in real terms over the past four years Individuals Foundations Public Sector Corporate Supporters Visitors, Members and Patrons

Tate Funding 2013/14 – total income £178.1 million including grant-in-aid, trading income & donations Excluding capital & acquisition income, total is £83.6 million - £53.2 million self- generated, £30.4 million grand-in-aid

Tate Enterprises & Tate Catering 2013/14 achieved revenues of just over £15 million through its trading activities and contributed a profit of £2.62 million to Tate. Tate Catering contributed £288,000 in profit overall.

In 2014 it was announced in the Budget that the combined annual limit for the Cultural Gifts Scheme and Acceptance in Lieu scheme would be increased to £40 million In 2013/14 three works were allocated to Tate via the Acceptance in Lieu scheme: a rare watercolour by Mark Rothko and two sculptures by Raphael Montañez Ortiz
