The steps may be summarized as follows: 1) Two devices find each other. 2) These devices exchange their service capabilities. 3) One user may initiate a messenger service with his/her user ID 4) Authentication may be processed by an authentication server somewhere 5) Two users talk about something directly via direct communication.
