The cows and Farmer Brown negotiate to reach an agreement. Would you negotiate with your parents to play outside? I tried to negotiate with my babysitter to stay up later. negotiate

* If you see a skunk on your path, is it better to negotiate or to run? * Should you negotiate with your teacher? negotiate

compromise When each side in an argument gives up part of what it wants, then the sides have made a compromise.

compromise The cows and Farmer Brown compromise by trading the typewriter for the blankets. My sister and I compromised and decided to play a different game.

* Is a compromise possible with just one person? Why or why not? * What compromise would you make to have a longer recess? * What is the opposite of a compromise ? compromise

improve Improve means to make something better.
