Option1 – CB to be delivered either through multilateral fund of it’s own, or as part of a multi- window new financial mechanism Option 2 – essentially CB should be delivered partly through the convention and partly (mostly???) through “various multilateral and bilateral channels” –Option 1 - So many brackets in option 2, higher possibility that CB can be installed in “any potential outcome”. Negotiations can be very difficult with Option 2. (Cancun possible element – Option 2)
