Escape From Mr. Lemoncello’s Library Characters By: Mira Sripada

Kyle Keeley Kyle is very helpful and nice. He will help other competitors even though he is against them. He is also very competitive he will do anything to win a game. Before he was in the library the book started out with him playing a game with his brothers, while he was playing he had to get into the basement but his brother Mike was already headed there. In the interest of winning the game Kyle decided to break the window from the outside and crawl in. He did end up winning the game but he got grounded.

Akimi Hughes Akimi is nice and helpful as well, she is Kyle’s best friend and helper during the game. During the book I think that she will keep the group moving till they finish. She will ask all kinds of questions and is not afraid to speak up. The reason why I think she keeps the group moving is that she will say stuff like “what does that mean” and I think that really gets everybody thinking about what the clues mean.

Sierra Russel Sierra is shy but very smart. She is a big reader during the whole book her reading skills really helped there team win. At the very beginning of the book everybody at her school was assigned to make an essay about what they were exited for at the new library. She of course did the assignment not knowing that she would be one of the 12 kids to be chosen for playing the game. Being so smart and good at all subjects her essay was really good so she was chosen. I think she really didn’t care about playing the game but was more interested in reading the books in the library and that’s why when all the instructions were given for the game she didn’t really listen. But Kyle’s team needed her to help so eventually she got more interested in playing the game.

Miguel Fernandez Miguel is very smart and helpful he wasn’t always part of Kyle’s group. The reason he joined Kyle’s group was that Kyle asked him to join and he eventually said yes. He is also Kyle’s best friend. During the book he is helpful but I don’t think he had a personality that you could describe very well because he didn’t’ talk that much.

Charles Chiltington Charles is extremely mean and rude he does not care about anything except winning. He was always mean to Kyle in the beginning but I think he got to caught up in the competition and started tricking people just to win a game. He tricked Haley Daley and Andrew Peckelman into joining his team just so he could collect there information and he thought that both of them were super dumb so he really didn’t need to worry about them. Soon he found out that he was wrong and Haley was very smart and knew that she needed to win and how to win.

Andrew Peckelman Andrew is smart and knew everything about the library and that’s why he was asked to join Charles team but he was tricked and didn’t know that Charles was just using him. During the book he was in a situation where he was forced to do something for Charles, he didn’t want to but he had to. He was forced to steal Sierra’s book mark in order to collect clues for Charles. I feel like Andrew could of won because he knew where you could find all the books in the library but that knowledge was wasted because he joined Charles’s team.

Haley Daley Haley Daley is kind of the sassy cheerleader type of girl. She is always mistaken has dumb because everybody thinks that cheerleaders are dumb. But that’s not always the case. She is surprisingly very smart and knows a lot about where to find stuff in the library. When Charles asked her to join his team she knew that Charles was just going to use her because he thought that she had a clue he needed. She did decide to join his team because Charles was being very persuasive.

The End Thanks for Listening!!!
