Chapter 10 Objectives Upon completing this chapter, students will be able to Define “critical thinking.” Understand the link between critical thinking and problem solving. Identify the steps to problem solving. Define “information literacy” and discuss its role in higher education. Evaluate web sites based on specific criteria and make decisions about the usefulness of the web sites. Identify the steps in finding resources for a research assignment.
