Objectives  To create a website using various techniques and computer programs including: Microsoft Word 2010 Microsoft Excel 2010 Microsoft Powerpoint 2010 Microsoft Sharepoint Designer 2007 Javascript  To become more proficient in designing a website.  To display stuff about the TV show Southland.

Why Southland?  I semi-professionally review TV, and I know a lot about it.  I like the show, have seen all episodes, and attended an advance screening event of season 2 in January  I don’t think that enough people know about the show.  I figured it would be kind of fun to make a website about it.

Problems Encountered  I could not get my applet to work.  I did not like any of the buttons that Sharepoint Designer had available.  Trying to find a video to include.

Things I Learned  That building websites is kind of like a puzzle – fun but complicated.  I really don’t like custom applets.  It’s more time consuming and frustrating to choose and crop 10+ photos than I thought.
