Biography

Electricity and Magnetism  Quick Summary  William Gilbert was a physician who developed and conducted experiments about electricity and magnetism.  One of his discoveries showed that heated magnets lose their magnetism.  His ideas on electricity and magnetism influenced many scientists after him.

Electricity and Magnetism  Create some interview questions  Here are some examples:  What subjects did you study in college?  As a physician, how did you become interested in working with electricity and magnetism?  Why did you write a book about Earth's magnetic field?
