 Schizophrenia is a chronic, severe, and disabling brain disorder that has affected people throughout history.  It is a disease that causes people to interpret reality abnormally. Schizophrenia may result in some combination of hallucinations, delusions, and disordered thinking and behavior.  The symptoms of schizophrenia are divided into 3 different categories positive, negative, and cognitive.
