Origami seem to prefer “growth,” or chain formation along the 3-mer axis, both in 1D and 2D origami. In both 2-Mer and 2-Mer/3-Mer origami, a mixture of 1D and 2D origami was observed. Though the RTPCR spectral data indicated no formation of 2-Mer 1D origami, copious amounts were formed and imaged on the AFM.
