Flow… Csikszentmihalyi Flow involves living one’s dream or conviction, not as an act of will but as a yearning to participate with others in achieving peak performance. Flow involves living one’s dream or conviction, not as an act of will but as a yearning to participate with others in achieving peak performance. Flow is present when there are; clear goals & unambiguous feedback, balance between opportunities and ability to act, merging of action and awareness, focus on the present, loss of self-consciousness, distortion of time and space. Oscillation… Schwartz Oscillation is described in Schwartz’ “Making of a corporate Athlete” as a conditioning must. It calls for oscillation between periods of action and reflection (similar to Palmer’s ideas in the Active Life, 1990).
