FACTS Sharks have many rows of teeth in their mouth. When a tooth gets damaged, another tooth is ready to replace it. They have a strong sense of smell which helps them hunt their prey. This big hunter chases its prey at speeds of up to 40km an hour. The great white can have as many as 3,ooo razor-sharp teeth Their average length is 4.2 metres long.
