Reporting and monitoring process is not meant to make the operation’s life difficult. 2

This project is co-financed by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey REPUBLIC OF TURKEY MINISTRY OF SCIENCE, INDUSTRY AND TECHNOLOGY a) Each contractor sends a report to the ERA within the deadlines agreed with the contractor/consultant and ensures that their part of the reported activities has been prepared in compliance with the given specific requirements. b) On the basis of the individual reports, the ERA compiles the operation monitoring report for the whole operation. c) The ERA performs the checks on the type and quality of information received and verifies that at least the minimum required information has been provided. d) The ERA aggregates all the information and prepares sections accordingly 5

This project is co-financed by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey REPUBLIC OF TURKEY MINISTRY OF SCIENCE, INDUSTRY AND TECHNOLOGY e) The ERA submits the Operation Monitoring Report to the OS in both electronic and paper version. The paper version has to carry the signature and stamp of the ERA. f) The Monitoring & Evaluation Department checks the report and if necessary sends clarification requests to the ERA. g) Once all points have been clarified, the operation monitoring report is approved. 6

Twice a year. There will be two cut off dates for the preparation of the Operation Monitoring Reports: 30 June of the relevant year 31 December of the relevant year 8
