Presentation transcript:

Event Trash-Bash community service in support of the Commission on Environmental Quality River, Lake, Bays ‘N Bayou. Communication Objectives: The purpose of the event is to preserve fish and wildlife and restore our water ways in the state of Texas. In the Falcon Battalion this event opened new doors of opportunities that potential Cadets in the future could learn from their peers/JROTC leadership the ambassadorship within our community provides in today’s shaping of young citizens. Activities: We had 16 Cadets support Trash-Bash by verifying boating/fishing license and registration. We also conducted picking of trash along Lake Houston water ways and docking areas during the Bass tournament with other educators from Hargrave high school. This shared experience is critical to the development of our youth today; which what was learned to pass on to our future Leaders. Key Take-Aways: Getting the Cadets involved weeks ago has really paid off. Which led to a larger scale of recruiting efforts of the numerous opportunities for the Hargrave JROTC Falcon Battalion that can help in the near future. Ambassadorship is the essential tool to our program success. Hargrave JROTC Falcon Battalion Community Service Trash-Bash 28 March 2015
