Mechanical Advantage The measurement of how useful a machine is to the job.

Mechanical Advantage Defined as the ratio between the output force and input force.

When MA is great than 1: it multiplies the input force. Good for lifting heavy objects. When MA is less than 1: it multiplies distance. Good when traveling a distance.

Efficiency Measures how useful a machine is at working.

Simple Machines Basic machines used to make work easier for a job.
