In 1846 the sewing machine was invented and patented the first automatic sewing machine for practical operation it was invented in the same year it was patented

In the early 1800”s clothing was made by hand, families sewed their pants,shirts, and dresses using needle and thread. But in 1846 Elias Howe changed all that, he came up with another way to make clothes,he patented the first practical sewing machine
