Project Overview: Title :“Developing a Green Business Support Strategy for UBCCE” Volume: € ( € in kind contribution from UBCCE) Main Goal: Elaboration of a business strategy to help private sector associations and enterprises to respond to multiple challenges and opportunities of climate change in an effective and proactive manner. At the end of the project UBCCE will have a “Green Business Support Strategy” adopted by its General Assembly, published and disseminated Focus: UBCCE Member organizations in Azerbaijan and Ukraine Duration: April 2010 – June 2011

Project Application: Kick-off and Training Workshop, Eschborn, June participants from UBCCE Member organizations and Secretariat + participants from GTZ, German and European Business (BAUM, BUSINESSEUROPE…) Work programme adopted Project Task Force formed Workshop Summary Report prepared UBCCE Website restructured with more focus on “Green Business”, launched 30 September 2010

Project Application: Next steps… Scenario 2: With an additional funding from BMU (activities will then depend on the extra amount allocated) Scenario 1 activities +; Workshop in 5th pilot country to be elected – date to be determined Participation to COP 17 (Durban, S. Africa) with a side event – December 2011 In both below scenarios, a prolongation of the Project duration will be necessary. Subject to confirmation by GTZ and BMU.
