Strategies for a Successful Race 1.BE SURE YOU ARE IN THE RACE 2.BE SURE YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT RACE 3.GET RID OF ANYTHING THAT HINDERS. 4.WATCH OUT FOR WRONG TURNS. 5.STAY FOCUSED. 6.FINISH STRONG.

1.BE SURE YOU ARE IN THE RACE

GOD LOVES YOU AND HAS A PLAN FOR YOUR LIFE God's Love "God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16) Spiritual Laws – Law 1

Spiritual Laws – Law 2 MAN IS SINFUL AND SEPERATED FROM GOD. THEREFORE, HE CAN’T KNOW AND EXPERIENCE GOD’S LOVE AND PLAN FOR HIS LIFE. Man Is Sinful "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).

Man Is Separated "The wages of sin is death" [spiritual separation from God] (Romans 6:23). Spiritual Laws – Law 2

JESUS CHRIST IS GOD’S ONLY PROVISION FOR MAN’S SIN. THROUGH HIM YOU CAN KNOW AND EXPERIENCE GOD’S LOVE AND PLAN FOR YOUR LIFE. Spiritual Laws – Law 3

Spiritual Laws – Law 4 We Receive Christ Through Faith "By grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast" (Ephesians 2:8,9). WE MUST INDIVIDUALLY RECEIVE JESUS CHRIST AS SAVIOR AND LORD

2. BE SURE YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT RACE Which race are you running? Proverbs 16:25 There is a way which seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.

3. GET RID OF ANYTHING THAT HINDERS. 3 Things Sin Will ALWAYS Do 1) Take you further than you want to go 2) Keep you longer than you want to stay 3) Cost you more than you want to pay

4. WATCH OUT FOR WRONG TURNS.

5. STAY FOCUSED. “It is not enough to be busy; so are the ants. The question is: What are we busy about?” So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:18

6. Finish Strong Gideon, Saul, Samson, Noah…the Bible is filled with heroes of the faith who didn’t end their lives well….why?????? Fix our eyes on Jesus….Period. 2 Timothy 4:6-72 Timothy 4:6-7 For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time has come for my departure. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
